Chinese Culture University Honors the 60th Hwa Kang Excellent Students Award: First Vietnamese International Student Receives Highest Honor
Hwa Kang Excellent Students Award is the highest honor for students at Chinese Culture University, symbolizing the exemplary model of academic excellence and balanced development in moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic education. Since its establishment, over 1,200 Hwa Kang Excellent Students have been recognized. This year, the 60th cohort includes 26 outstanding students who will be honored at the "Huacheng Outstanding Students Award and Club Recognition Ceremony" on June 10 in the Bo-Ying Hall on the 8th floor of the Gymnasium building.
This year’s most notable honoree is the first Vietnamese student to receive the Hwa Kang Excellent Students Award, Dinh Nguyen Viet Anh, a fourth-year student in the College of Liberal Arts. This achievement marks a historic milestone and reflects the fruitful results of the university's internationalization efforts. Dinh Nguyen Viet Anh expressed that being selected as a Hwa Kang Excellent Student is both an honor and a responsibility, thanking all teachers and friends for their support and encouragement. He hopes to become a bridge for youth exchange between Taiwan and Vietnam in the future, promoting mutual cultural understanding and friendship, while continuing to strive forward with his original aspirations as motivation.
